What is the duration of treatment for ivermectin cream?

Ivermectin cream should be applied once daily for up to 4 months. If there is no improvement after 3 months, the treatment should be discontinued. The treatment course may be repeated.

IVREA 1 CREAM contains Ivermectin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiparasitic agents. It is used in adults (18 years or older) to treat pimples and spots on the skin found with rosacea. Rosacea is defined as a skin condition that causes blushing or flushing and visible blood vessels in your face. It may also induce small and pus-filled bumps.        

IVREA 1 CREAM should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. It is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before applying this medicine.             

The safety and efficacy of IVREA 1 CREAM in children and adolescents (18 years or less) have not been established. Consult your child’s doctor for advice.
